Hello There! I’m Micah, A wedding & portrait photographer based in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire. I’m supposed to talk here about my style, philosophy & approach to photography but honestly, I don’t have a clue. I just love a good photograph, it’s all about the story, the memory.
However, in an attempt to sound more cultured lets have a quote that I absolutely adore from the late, great Saul Leiter:
“I don’t have a philosophy. I have a camera. I look into the camera and take pictures. My photographs are the tiniest part of what I see that could be photographed. They are fragments of endless possibilities“
Although based in Huddersfield, I am more than happy to travel anywhere as long as there is something to photograph (and preferably to eat!)
An avid pizza eater, Metallica lover & keen people watcher. I enjoy nothing more than wandering this fine rock of ours with my darling wife in search of fine food, taking in the sights and watching a reyt good film. I will watch pretty much anything - ‘Barbarian’ and ‘The Menu’ are my favourites i’ve seen so far this year - John Carpenters ‘Halloween’ is my favourite film of all time!
